As Operations Manager, your excellent communication skills will ensure an extremely effective and close liaison with your team, clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, internal staff and management at all times.

At times you will need to demonstrate a high level of understanding of the systems and equipment your team are maintaining, as well as delivering extra works and installations, and it’s therefore imperative that you have hands on and technical experience in both commercial Air Conditioning and Chillers.

Your key responsibilities as leader of this fast paced division will be –

* Financial Management of the business – full ownership of P&L, Debt, WIP.
* Promote H&S culture across the whole team, with responsibility for the H&S of the sites and engineers.
* Work closely with the Service Desk and your direct reports to ensure that service levels are maintained, and where possible exceeded.
* Meet with clients to establish steady lines of communication and attend monthly client meetings where required.
* Provide data for the monthly Business review document.
* Plan PPM schedules for sites to ensure an even workload in conjunction with the Service Desk.
* Responsible for the return of PPM and work related documentation.
* Ensure all sites have accurate asset registers and are labelled accordingly.
* Responsible for the fast and effective procurement of materials and services.
* Produce dilapidation reports.
* Proactively source additional works and raise quotations by supplying administrators with labour summary and supplier quotations for materials in order for quotations to be raised effectively.
* Provide technical support where required to engineers, the service desk and clients.
* Investigate and report on major operational incidents.
* Ensure engineers are fully equipped to carry out daily tasks.
* Carry out engineers appraisals.
* Ensure all callouts are attended to, in conjunction with the Service desk.
* Carry out monthly audits on both PPM & Reactive works.
* Compile operation and maintenance manuals.
* Ensure all 3rd party contracts have been carried out.
