In line with this sustained growth the business is looking to appoint a Sales Support Executive for the Checkmate division, specialising in Latent Defect Insurance.

Within the role you will provide key support to the sales team, carrying out administrative functions assisting with set up of files, membership applications, premium indications and site registrations all following a written procedure as well as acting as a bridge between the sales department, underwriting and technical departments as required by the sales team.

You will also intercept incoming phone calls, email enquiries and qualify clients prior to sending to the relevant business departments.

It is essential that you have proven IT competency including Outlook, Word and Excel and be able to operate autonomously in this regard.

  • Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.

  • Being driven and self-motivated with a passion for delivering customer service.

  • Being personable with well-developed business acumen and communication skills.

    This opportunity would suit either someone looking for a support/ admin role for the long-term or someone keen to ultimately progress into a more sales-focused role, subject to demonstration of their ability dealing with clients, accuracy and compliance of work.

    Additional areas of responsibility under your remit will include;

  • Assisting with marketing functions such as E blasts, keeping Twitter and other social media updated.

  • Developing a deep knowledge of the Checkmate products and services and be able to:-

  • Explain the scope of the products and their USPs.

  • Work on the development of marketing materials to assist the sales team in explaining key features & benefits.

  • After a period of time be able to conduct high level demonstrations of our products and services.

  • Assist the Sales Director to:-

    a)Collate information and reports on monthly sales figures, pipeline estimates, activity logs for the team.

    b)Produce regular reports for the sales team, including maintaining a sales board and reviewing commission schedules.
