Role: IT Technician - 1st / 2nd Line External Support
Location: Swindon
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 + Certifications + Training + Healthcare

A specialist IT support company working with manufacturers, legal, financial and healthcare services are looking for a new member to join their team.

They're looking for a 1st / 2nd line IT support engineer with an all-rounded set of skills and particularly well-developed abilities in Office365 or Exchange, Windows desktop and server, and networking knowledge.

The company is willing to invest heavily in its employees, paying for any certifications you may have been looking to attain over your career. They are heavy on training with internal and external courses, keen to promote you into a 3rd line position as soon as you are comfortable with the requirements of the role. They also offer private healthcare scheme and onsite parking.

Main Responsibilities: -

  • 1st / 2nd line support
  • Troubleshoot, manage and maintain Windows Servers
  • Manage and maintain virtual environments
  • Administer and support Office365 (including migrations)

Essential Skills: -

  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Exchange / Office365
  • Active Directory / Group Policy
  • Windows Desktop

Desirable Experience: -

  • VMware / HyperV
  • Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016
  • PowerShell
  • Azure
  • Backup Exec
  • Citrix
