Working with Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Outpatients to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department.

This is a FULL time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:
*To provide an effective, customer focused, high quality, cost effective, multi-speciality nursing service to all users of the department.
*Compliance with established work instructions, nursing policies and procedures.
*Perform or organise any investigations or minor procedures required for patients using local and national guidelines.
*Order, store, administer and document all medications in accordance with hospital policy.
*Ensure that charges generated are accurately recorded, thus contributing to the overall profitability of the Hospital.
*Attend all mandatory training sessions.
*Positive attitude to managing change.
*Adhere to safe working instructions for the department.
*Ensure off duty matches actual outpatient activity.
*Provide support to, and work with the Outpatient/Pre-assessment Lead.
*Liaise with all users of the Outpatient Department.
*Seek to continually increase revenue within the department.
*Ensure all specimens are safely transported to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
*Ensure all incidents and complaints are recorded.
*Respect and maintain confidentiality at all times
*Adhere to Infection Control Guidelines
*Ensures safe handling of equipment.
*Effective use of IT systems.
*Participate in external and internal audits.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
*RN with current NMC Registration
*Previous experience in an Outpatient setting an advantage
*Competent IT skills.
*Evidence of continual professional development.
