Working within the marketing department of a dynamic, award winning FTSE100 business you will work across multiple household name brands, illustrating the marketing landscape, utilising market and consumer trends, working with key data sources, and modelling the effects to help drive major marketing decisions.
This position plays a fundamental part within a vibrant, rewarding, and industry leading marketing department, where you will be tasked with providing key contributions to multi-million pound strategic marketing investment decisions.
Your duties as a marketing effectiveness will include but not be limited to the following:
- You will lead and implement rigorous analysis across multiple media lines and purchase channels - delivered through a best in class leading marketing evaluation program that utilises a broad base of techniques, both internally and with agency partners.
- You will ensure all marketing stakeholders are fully engaged with key marketing effectiveness deliverables: econometrics, testing and forecasting, communicating these key insights to the business in a tailored, collaborative and compelling manner.
- A key outcome of the evaluation program is that the impact of marketing investment decisions can be accurately forecasted over the short, medium and long term. And that insight generated adds context and rationale to conversations about monthly trading performance vs. forecast
The Successful Marketing Effectiveness Manager
I am looking for an experienced marketing effectiveness professional who has in-house, agency, or consultancy experience. You will be a passionate marketer, who thrives on change, staying ahead of the curve, and has a track record of successfully using data to make major commercial decisions. You will be somebody who possesses fantastic analytical skills, and be able to make sense of data from a number of sources.
You will be a first class communicator who is accustomed to engaging with senior stakeholders, and using a wide range of marketing effectiveness tactics such as LTM techniques, Structured Testing, Econometrics, Market Intelligence, Attribution Methods, amongst others.
It is paramount that you have extensive media knowledge, and are accustomed to measuring media performance, translating this into reports to business stakeholders, as well as a clear sat of actions to drive performance forward.
