We have a really exciting opportunity at the moment for an ambitious Commercial Professional to join us as Channel Head – leading the strategy and direction for our Leisure, Convenience and On-The-Go Channels.
What can you expect?
As Channel Head, you will develop and execute the channel strategy for Leisure, Convenience and On-the-Go Channels to win with customers and delight consumers, while delivering achievements of business objectives. This role will also sit on the NP Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
Leads a team of Account Managers and a budget of c£10M
Builds channel and customer knowledge, develops channel, customer insight in OOH environment, transfers the knowledge within NP UK&I organization, ensuring solid base for making business decisions
Develops Channel strategy, channel value proposition based on Regional Channel Strategy, strategic priorities and local market characteristics across NP portfolio
Manages the development and execution of strong holistic channel ICP plans
Closely collaborates with B2B team and category teams to ensure strong channel activations and leads generation
Monitors and analyses Channel performance, develops corrective/accelerating actions in order to achieve business objectives
Builds annual Joint Business Plans with key customers within the channel to manage profitable growth journey. Builds strong relationship with customers.
Full scope of top customers’ management activities from strategic and operational perspective.
Supports category strategy development and execution. Delivers channel input to the categories to drive Bigger, Bolder and Better innovation & renovation required to win the channel
Demonstrates leadership and facilitate development of his/her team. Ensures HR practices are in place within channel team (recruitment, on-boarding, training, development, succession planning, reviews and talent assessments, etc)
Who are we looking for?
This role is part of our Leadership Team here at NP, and so we’re looking for commercially astute sales professionals and proven leaders who have up to date experience and knowledge of the Leisure, Convenience and On The Go channels.
Understands all sales functions i.e. CCSD, Customer, Field
Has demonstrated success in a number of diverse sales roles.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people
Experience in leading and managing cross functional teams
Experience in Marketing and/or Category is desired
