THE COMPANY: Brewster Pratap are recruiting for Highfield, a leader within their sector specialising in training materials and qualifications within the H&S, food safety, first aid, security and licensing sector. Due to progression they are currently recruiting an experienced Events Coordinator to work within the marketing team in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, driven, ambitious and passionate Events Coordinator.

THE JOB:

  • Responsible for delivering highest levels of Customer Service
  • To deliver agreed annual national events calendar within budget and including securing venues, catering, equipment, room layout etc.
  • Liaise with colleagues to identify and secure event speakers, as required
  • Maintain records of speakers used/suggested speakers including post-event satisfaction ratings
  • Coordinating staffing requirements/staff briefings
  • Selling sponsorship/stand/exhibition space to potential exhibitors/partners, as required
  • Preparing delegate packs and papers
  • Create engaging content to support events, marketing and communications activities
  • Ensure events section of website is maintained and accurate at all times
  • Liaise with the design team to create and organise the production of all associated event literature ensuring that all presentation/hand-out information is up-to-date.
  • Coordinate staff to make sure that the programme of events occurs on time, for example, speeches and the serving of food and refreshments
  • Identify potential exhibitions for all areas of the business
  • Ensure all exhibition bookings are managed and that effective communication takes place with all the relevant stakeholders
  • Manage Wembley box booking process to ensure the box is utilised fully or re-sold
  • Coordinate activities/events for the company's chosen charity
  • Post-event evaluation reporting
  • Maintain/improve customer satisfaction ratings
  • Increase customer engagement through events attendance
  • Achieve agreed revenue targets
  • Source and post relevant comments on social media platforms to achieve objectives
  • Manage recording of events ie sound, video, photography as required
  • Ensure all written communications, including constructive customer comments post-event, are responded to within 1-working day
  • Support Marketing Manager in campaign delivery, research, analysis etc as required
  • To ensure that the Company Quality and Procedures Manuals are being adhered to at all times
  • At all times to adhere to and promote the Ofqual Conditions of Recognition and other regulatory requirements
  • Any other activities, as required

THE PERSON:

  • Excellent time, people and resource management/organisational skills
  • Experience within events including social media
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Strong analysis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal manner
  • Demonstrate ability to work from own initiative and as part of a wider team
  • Demonstrate word processing, spreadsheet and email skills

THE BENEFITS: £18,000-£20,000 p/a, 22 days holiday, critical illness cover, pension, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
