Marketing Executive/Senior Marketing Executive: Content and social media (P/T)
Exciting part-time marketing (3 days a week) role working for a leading FTSE 250 organisation in the City of London. Up to £35,000 (Pro-rata) dependant on experience
Your new company
You will work for Hays, a FTSE 250 organisation in their flagship office in the City of London. The Marketing team have strong growth plans and are currently going through a transition period where they are implementing new technologies to ensure they remain at the forefront of the market.
Your new role
Working as part of the fast paced and exciting communications team your role will include the execution of marketing activity to support Hays Education. You will have a particular focus on managing social media communities and creating content for the education sector.
Responsible for delivering and optimising the Hays Education social media strategy, across a variety of social media platforms, whilst maintaining the company’s core branding
Working closely with the social media executive and group social media team to align social media process and best practices
You will be responsible for writing and curating content such as social media posts, articles, newsletters, video footage, podcasts, photos, live event posts, and advice for teaching professionals
Support the education business and wider team with events co-ordination nationally
Help co-ordinate award entries
Monitor and collate third party news content relevant to the education sector which can be shared across social channels
Create social media graphics using pre-approved templates
Help filter PR opportunities to the team as needed
Support other areas of the business with social media and content as required
What you'll need to succeed
Degree educated or business equivalent with specific marketing qualifications
IT literate in core MS Office packages
Confident writing engaging material with good attention to detail with regards to spelling and grammar
Ideally you will have a sound understanding of social media, including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and scheduling platforms such as Hootsuite and Buffer
Understanding and willingness to learn how to engage people and create a buzz on social media via hashtags, campaigns, and more
Ideally you will have some design experience using programmes such as Indesign or Photoshop
What you'll get in return
