IT Support Technician, 2nd line, Desktop, Oxford, £25,000pa - £30,000pa:
A leading IT Managed Services Provider based on the outskirts of Oxford is looking to recruit an IT Support Technician to work in their client's stunning rural office location. Working in a team of dedicated technicians, you'll be providing support to over 500 users covering cutting edge hardware, software and infrastructure technologies. Supporting one of the UK's largest firms within their industry, this role combines end-user support and technical hands-on troubleshooting. You'll deal with a variety of hardware, software, telephony and mobile device issues, and will work closely with the 3rd Line Infrastructure Support team.
The successful IT Support Technician will need to be self-motivated, conscientious, methodical and organised, with the ability to liaise with clients at all levels of a business whilst demonstrating excellent customer service at all times. You'll possess a logical approach to problem solving, a firm grasp of current enterprise desktop and infrastructure technology, and will already be experienced in a similar role.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Advanced Windows 7/10 & MS Office 365/2016
- Windows Server 2008/2012
- MS Exchange 2013
- Active Directory administration
- Advanced hardware troubleshooting and knowledge
- Incident Management Tools e.g. Cherwell, Remedy
- ITIL, Microsoft certifications, CompTIA, Prince2
