Our client is currently recruiting for an exciting new role as a Sous Chef for their Wedding and Events catering company, based just outside of Dorking.
They are a beautiful, modern and successful company who are looking for a talent driven individual to prepare, deliver and serve outstanding food to clients. They currently provide a personal catering service of bespoke food across London, Surrey and the South East.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the Head Chef and Management team to assist in the running of the business. They would also be in charge of managing the kitchen and staff as required and to comply with Health and Safety regulations. It is also a great opportunity for them to assist in client meetings and help with menu planning and creating.
The ideal candidate would be;
Highly organised and have a natural talent for cooking.
Presentable and a friendly approachable persona.
Experience in catering for Weddings and larger events would be preferable but not necessary.
Background in quality hotels, events or restaurants is also preferable.
Be able to think on their feet and use initiative.
Have excellent communication skills.
Be a team player, reliable and punctual.
Flexible and able to drive due to location.
This role also offers great progression so would suit someone who is ambitious and looking to further their career in catering. They are looking for someone with real attention to detail and a keen interest in presentation and professionalism when cooking.
