Job Title: Regional Account Manager - East Region

Location: Covering postcodes in the East Region as follows: LN, PE, NR, IP, CB, SG, AL, CM, CO, RM, SS, EN, IG, E

Salary: Up to £50,000 plus a car allowance, quarterly competitive commission

About the role

We are currently looking for a Regional Account Manager to cover the East Region with a specialist Buy to Let and Residential Mortgage Lender. To manage the relationships with allocated mortgage intermediary, communicating the product proposition and ensuring optimum service levels are maintained at all times. Develop the business relationship and managing these at all levels in a professional and prompt manner. Maximise the full potential of our partners to increase business levels aligned to company strategies.

Responsibilities and Experience required for the role of Regional Account Manager

  • Focus on building company presence in the mortgage intermediary market place within a specific region
  • Manage, develop adding value to existing relationships to maximise business levels to the quality required as well as helping to win new business relationships
  • Feedback key market intelligence and recommend areas for improvement
  • Understand and deliver the brand values and being an ambassador for the business
  • Become an expert on our proposition, understanding where our strengths lie and ensuring our partners are aware of our strengths
  • Provide professional guidance within area of expertise to support the business
  • Coaching junior professionals to ensure they possess the skills necessary to discharge their own duties
  • Understand the impact and implications of personal and professional action across the business to optimise contribution
  • Plan and organise own workload to ensure personal and team objectives and deadlines are met
  • Take responsibility for personal development, identifying and pursuing opportunities where appropriate to maintain and develop expertise. Ensuring continual personal and functional credibility within the business
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of own area of expertise and understand wider implications and opportunities for the business making recommendations
  • Contribute towards functional strategy development, planning and implementation process to provide input from a professional viewpoint
  • Strong awareness of mortgage industry and regulation is essential
  • Current/Recent experience of business development within the Buy to Let and Residential mortgage industry (ideally through packagers/key accounts) is essential
  • Excellent communication & relationship management skills
  • Confident and professional at pitching product propositions to mortgage introducers irrespective of seniority within the business
  • Strong personality but able to show diplomacy and empathy where necessary
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with drive to succeed and deliver results
  • Excellent presentation and time management skills
  • CeMAP or MCD qualified highly desirable but not essential
