Reporting directly to the CISO, this role will ensure the Information Security function is operationally effective and delivers against the strategy and objectives set by the Chief Information Security Officer. You will be a senior security leader, with extensive experience leading and managing global teams in complex, regulated organisations. Leading our global information security improvement program, you will be skilled in governing, leading and delivering significant change programmes to scope, time and budget, ensuring that benefits are realised. You will have a flexible and pragmatic approach, comfortable with agile and responsive delivery techniques. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the function including delivery of recruitment plans, tracking financial performance, ensuring best HR practices are maintained, and leading our Operating Committee. Critically, you must be a highly effective communicator and a supportive team player, taking a consultative approach whilst maintaining the integrity and independence of the Information Security function.
You will combine an ability to navigate organisational politics and manage stakeholders, with a talent for operational delivery and a strong sense of accountability for results. Skills:Experience in leading and managing people in a global companyLeading and delivering enterprise changeExcellent analytical problem solving skillsProven, effective, operational leadership in Information SecurityAbility to drive and measure and results Knowledge of information security techniques and practicesKnowledge and experience of experience in assessment methodologies and frameworksExcellent writing, presentation, and communication skillsExperience with IT audit/assurance functions and IT controlsStrong IT knowledge, with a strong background in technology and/or risk managementProven ability to work in global collaborative environmentExperience of working with a high degree of autonomy, managing own and others’ workload, and delivering to tight timescales
Desirable Qualifications:Qualified to degree level, ideally in IT or security related subject.Information security qualifications (e.g. CISSP, IISP, CISM, GIAC) Project management qualifications (e.g. PMP)
