Cloud Portfolio/Programme Manager

Our market leading client, based within easy walking distance of the train station and situated near the centre by shops, great restaurants and bars, have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic, adaptable and driven individual to oversee & coordinate the activities of a multi-disciplinary team as well as interfacing and supporting bi-directional planning with the commercial arm of the business unit.

The successful candidate will act as the "glue" for the business unit and will be responsible for the overall project portfolio as well as heading up a team of project managers, making sure that the projects are running to schedule and budget and an overall leader for the technology team, and as such, should have a relatively strong knowledge of commercial, delivery & planning methodologies.

You will have working knowledge of public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Office 365) so that you can interact and plan with the team members efficiently.

With a passion for all things "cloud", you will also have strong customer service skills and will have the ability to establish trust and credibility with stakeholders, both internally and externally and be able to drive decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of:

  • working in a customer driven environment
  • effectively leading multi-disciplined teams
  • working in a Agile, PRINCE2 or MSP environment with multiple product organisations
  • building deep relationships with senior stakeholders both internal and external
  • developing and implementing delivery and output focused policies and processes.
  • monitoring performance against both operational targets project outcomes
  • ideally you will hold a public cloud provider business level certification
