I am currently working with a key client based in Lincolnshire who are looking to recruit a senior Management Accountant the successful candidate will be reporting to the Group Finance Manager.

Key Duties

1. Preparing monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reports for review by Group Finance Manager and Subsidiary MD, and submit Accounts for inclusion in Subsidiary Board papers.
2. Liaise with other Subsidiaries MA regarding inter company charges
3. Reviewing Accruals and Prepayments prepared by Purchase Ledger (PL) and Assistant Management Accountant (AMA)/ Management Accountant (MA)
4. Preparation and entry of ad hoc N/L journals.
5. Reconciliations of Payroll control account.
6. Reconciliation of Purchase Ledger to Nominal Ledger.
7. Review monthly the balance sheet reconciliations prepared by AMA/MA
8. Maintenance of the Sage period access
9. Maintenance of budget files and dissemination of the budget information to Subsidiaries
10. Analysis and interpretation of management accounts
11. Review financial changes to contracts created by Contracts Administration team and advise AMA/MA of changes.

Must be able:

Have a good understanding of management accounts reporting and requirements.Have a good understanding of the budget process.
Have the ability to manage own professional development.
Understanding of the legal frameworks within which the organisation works.
Have a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practice.
