To proactively take steps to increase sales, provide excellent customer service and increase the profitability of their Irish client base.

By managing the company sales process you will communicate at all levels within our customer's organisation to provide a solution to meet their requirements. Your primary focus will be on managing facilitation opportunities within your geographical area which will be managed through the sales process, to the benefit of both our customers and us to achieve your sales target.

You will work closely with field sales colleagues, the System Integrator Relationship Manager and System Architects, as well as a number of departments within the office, to ensure your area is managed in the most efficient way. A monthly report will be generated to give market and customer feedback to the company allowing flexibility in our reaction to market needs.

A combination of account management and business development will be required to achieve your sales target on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis whilst ensuring our customers are delighted through engagement with us.

Key Responsibilities

The position - responsibilities and duties

  • Achieve your KPI targets of sales revenue, opportunity creation and customer satisfaction through account management and business development.
  • Use the Customer Centric Selling process to align with the customers' business requirements.
  • Embody the company values in all engagements with customers, prospects, partners and suppliers.
  • Provide a monthly sales report that allows market and customer feedback to be shared throughout the company and promote best practice within the sales team.
  • Office based role with the opportunity and requirement to work with customers face to face, both at customer premises and internally.
  • Ensure that all opportunities are detailed and updated, with relevant notes and correspondence, within the company CRM. That they are correctly categorised based on the relevant stage of the sales process and accurately forecast for closure.
  • Fully and enthusiastically participate in Sales Meetings to develop self-learning and share best practice.
  • Effectively communicate with members of the sales team to ensure a good understanding of area forecast and activity.

Person specification - skills knowledge and experience

  • Will have experience of relationship and/or account management.
  • Strong consultative and influencing skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Keen to develop a good understanding of the general IT landscape
  • Self-motivated but a good team player
  • Inquisitive personality
  • Excellent written communication
