Would you like to work from home? How about mentoring and coaching ex-job seekers that have taken the plunge to set up their own business or go self-employed? This is a great opportunity for an Employment Advisor looking for something different.
You will coach and mentor clients for a 12 month period, mostly over the phone, but there could be the odd occasion where you will go out and meet with them. This is a specialist programme that works with unemployed job seekers to give them an alternative to employment by looking at the option of setting up a business or going self-employed. You will be the third person in the team, providing support, and helping them grow their business and revenues. Prior to clients meeting you, they will have worked with a Start-up Coach, and then a Growth Coach, to help get their business idea off the ground, and in process. You are responsible for the really important bit - making sure they have the support to maintain this.
As well as providing regular support, you will also be responsible for coordinating with volunteer mentors, sign posting towards business grants & loans and regular review meetings of the business plan tasks and objectives. You will also liaise with the business growth team, and JCP on a regular basis.
Please apply via this advert. Everyone gets a response (but if you have not heard back, please call the office and ask for James - contact details on the Red 5 Solutions website). You will need to have experience of working as an Employment Advisor providing in-work support, ideally with some knowledge of helping job seekers to go self-employed.
Please note, that whilst home based, the clients you are working with could be based in either Herts, Beds, Essex or Kent, so on occasion you might have to visit them (travel will be paid for).
