Reed Accountancy Belfast is delighted to be working with a well known Not-For-Profit Organisation based in Belfast City Centre. Our client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Finance Officer/ Accounts Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full time temporary-to-permanent role offering a very competitive start.

This role will offer an immediate start, full time hours and £20,000+ per annum. The successful applicant will be required to complete the following duties:

• Preparation on Monthly Management Accounts
• Variance Reports and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
• Maintaining purchase ledger including receipting, coding and inputting invoices onto Sage
• Ensuring invoices are authorised for payment, reconciling supplier statements, generating supplier payments through BACS Systems and monthly creditor’s ledger reconciliations
• Maintaining sales ledger- raising sales invoices and inputting onto Sage system
• Credit control and monthly debtor ledger reconciliations
• Monthly nominal ledger journals
• Assisting with annual budget
• General administrative duties as and when required

Candidates wishing to apply should be able to demonstrate recent experience working within Purchase & Sales ledger invoice processing, as well as the ability to demonstrate working with large volumes of invoice processing. You should also offer good IT experience in Microsoft Excel, and experience in a Sage system would be beneficial but not essential.
