Primary Teacher Required for St Austell School
Teaching Personnel are currently supporting a high amount of schools across Cornwall. We have been approached by a school in the St Austell area that are requiring an Upper Key stage 2 Teacher to work in their school starting in September.
The school have made it clear that this position is available for both NQT's and FQT's but they must be confident and able to use effective behaviour management.
In order to apply for this role you must have:
- QTS certificate
- Ability to adapt work to suit the needs of every child
- Strong behaviour management
- Able to raise attainment across all subjects
- Work effectively with Teaching Assistant and other staff
- Able to challenge pupils to exceed their targets
- Great references from previous employers/placements
The school are looking for someone who is passionate, bubbly, strong and adaptable. You must be available full time, Monday - Friday. The role is term time only.

Working with Teaching Personnel requires a DBS in Child workforce which is registered on the update service. If you do not have a current DBS then do not worry as we can support you through the process.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
