Kinetic Recruitment are looking to recruit a Quality Auditor / Lab Analyst
The purpose of the job is to be accountable for all areas of product testing, site auditing and ensuring site maintains its quality regime to the correct levels to ensure the best quality product and processes are maintained at all times.
The role will undertake sampling and laboratory analysis to set procedures for all raw materials, work in progress and finished products to ensure conformity to specification.
The Quality Auditor will also ensure all relevant testing schedules are maintained to set timescales and results are acted on in a timely manner.
Full involvement in HS&E activities, site audits, GMP system and any other customer visit will be the norm.

Some of the tasks and expectations of the role will be:
*Complete quality attribute tests
*Complete daily, weekly, monthly, periodic calibration tests according to SOP's
*Compliance to Retail & other COP ensuring full gap analysis exercises drive compliance to all stds. (eg M&S, Asda, RSPO, Red Tractor & Halaal)
*Complete analysis on all required work in progress (WIP)
*Collect, assess and file all required factory-based paperwork
*Enter relevant analytical data onto spreadsheets
*Complete attribute tests on all relevant incoming raw materials
*Collect, assess and file certificates of conformance
*Assess quality of all products manufactured (line up & taste panel tests)
*Complete shelf life testing
*Control and replenish stock of all laboratory supplies
*Undertake microbiological swabbing of the plant
*Undertake air / water sampling
*Undertake internal audits and GMPs
*Complete non-routine testing
*Complete pre-start up and routine run checks (including Harford and Vison Systems)
*Engage in fault finding
*Assist in various NPD projects and trials
*Ensure Q-Pulse system is always up to date
*Carry out various other tasks (eg Radar checks and Chemical Titration checks)
Desirable attributes for consideration are:
*Experienced in working in a laboratory environment, preferably in the food industry
*Knowledge of basic food hygiene and processing of dairy products
*Awareness of health and safety procedures
*Internal auditing experience
*Good communication skills.
This is a temporary position covering holidays and sickness with immediate starts.
£11.06 per hour
Working 12-hour shifts days & nights
Onsite parking
