Fantastic opportunity to get a foot in the door with this highly regarded entertainment giant! This is an all-encompassing controllership role incorporating team management, management reporting, financial planning/analysis and statutory reporting. They are known for having a dynamic culture and looking after/progressing their staff highly likely to be other opportunities available within the group after the initial twelve months. Responsibilities:
• Manage the monthly close and management accounts process.
• Oversee the process for preparing and reporting on monthly & quarterly reporting packs, including cashflow, and management reports. Present cause of change to the key department heads and discuss key variances of actuals to budget/forecast
• Prepare business plans and five year plans and financial forecasts and ensure that budgets are met and commercial activities are maximized.
• Calculate the quarterly reforecast models for recharges to the rest of the UK Group.
• Provide project support including areas such as forecast updates, strategic planning, project funding.
Partnering with the senior management team on commercial affairs and contractual matters.
• Review and sign off monthly payroll.
• Review year-end reconciliations and reports in UK GAAP and liaise with auditors.
• Review/work on statutory accounts and tax packs
• Ensure compliance with applicable SOX requirements as required.
• Provide essential guidance and support to the finance team to enable them to develop within their roles.
• Manage capital expenditure process of the Group, working closely with departments in ensuring they spend in line with Capital budgets.

Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven track record working successfully with senior business leaders, creative heads, operational and financial management.
  • Significant experience within a multinational company highly desirable.
