Marketing Graduate - £18-21k + benefits (Central Basingstoke)

Moving to new offices in the centre of Basingstoke, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a smaller team, with big ideas and lots of responsibilities. Responsibilities will include building and maintaining the online presence, assisting key clients with promotions and building their own social media presence as well as implementing marketing plans within our major events and projects.

As the Marketing Graduate, the main duties and responsibilities will include:-

  • Reporting to the Chief Executive, managing a varied and diverse marketing remit
  • Day to day management of digital platforms including social media (Hootsuite, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and website content
  • Develop and delivery of digital marketing campaigns
  • Develop digital communications, using Mailchimp, Facebook, Instagram etc
  • Assist with the production of the bi-monthly magazine
  • Responsible for in house filming and photography - equipment provided, some training as necessary
  • Delivery of ad hoc and repeat campaigns and projects
  • Where possible, manage artwork in house within brand guidelines
  • Develop and table new ideas and evaluate the success of projects, share best practice
  • Client engagement and management, regularly meet to maintain and develop relationships
  • General relevant administration

Key competencies for the Marketing Graduate:

  • Experience/understanding of digital marketing, planning and working as part of a small team
  • Experience/understanding and willingness to work with Hootsuite, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Mailchimp
  • Creative and pro-active
  • Customer and relationship focus
  • Ability to quickly build a rapport and engage with people
  • Confident communication and networking skills
  • Excellent administration and MS Office skills


Salary banding of £18-21k, usual business hours are 9am to 5.30pm but there may be flexibility on start and finish times if core hours were to start earlier or finish later. Discounted local parking. Discounted gym membership. Pension. Childcare vouchers. 28 days annual leave.
