Head of History
Head of History- Elite independent Preparatory school
Job Start: September 2018
Timetable: Full Time
Our client, an elite independent preparatory school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of History to join their team. All applicants must have a strong academic background.
This school is a small, family-run, independent preparatory school in London. The school is co-educational with under 150 pupils on roll aged 5-15. The majority of girls leave at 11+ and the boys at Common Entrance. The school boasts stunning exit results, feeding into Eton, Harrow, Mill Hill, Wycombe Abbey, to name a few. Despite this the school focuses heavily on individual traits that don't only focus on academic achievement.
There is currently a vacancy for a History teacher that will engage with the children and create a happy learning environment. A strong academic background is essential and precedence on the candidate having this will be placed over teaching experience. The ability to prepare students for Common Entrance and Scholarship is an essential facet to this post. Due to exceptionally small class sizes, teachers will be able to focus on children individually, in an exceptional environment.
Salary will be determined on the schools own generous scale and is dependent on skillset and experience.
