Our client is a well established firm of Accountants in the Horsham area, who are seeking a new Qualified Accountant to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of complex or larger business accounts from clients detailed or incomplete records, reviewing accounts and working papers, carrying out the posting for complex or missing areas of accounts, reviewing business related personal and partnership tax returns, interpreting the results for the client as needed, as well as preparing corporation tax returns and reviewing the work of junior staff.

You will also be responsible for undertaking correspondence with clients, answering a variety of complex issues, and providing on the job training for junior staff where possible, monitoring their performance and passing along feedback. You will be involved the in decisions affecting staff selection, training and welfare, as well as responsible for managing the allocation of staff within the team. You will also be involved in the strategic plans which will affect your team, office and service line, assisting the Partners with technical research for client and marketing purposes.

Ideally, you will be ACCA or ACA qualified, with a minimum of 3 years Post Qualified Experience and a good background within practice.
