Our client is a award winning Home Care provider supporting elderly and other vulnerable people to live independent, fulfilling lives in their own homes. We are looking to recruit an experienced and professional Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Wimbledon.
Our clients depend on our team of Caregivers to help and support them with the activities of daily living allowing them to remain independent in their own homes. Job Description

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure the highest possible levels of care provision are maintained
Support and contribute actively to the training, shadowing and supervision, including spot checks, of existing and new staff in all aspects of their work
monitor new staff and colleagues to support them with issues they may have.
Liaise closely with the Head Of Operations & Training Manager at all times, reporting any concerns, changes or difficulties regarding staff or clients
Ensure a thorough knowledge, understanding and adherence to all company policies and procedures in line with CQC regulatory requirements
Participate in team meetings, staff events and lead by example
Maintain clear, timely records such as communication sheets and MAR Charts
Submit reports as requested in a timely manner, informing effectively of changes to Care Plan, update MAR Charts and deliver it to the clients by the 1st of each month together with the PPE.
Participate in the out of hours / on call services at least one week in four.
Act on own initiative and exercise decision making skills, as far as possible and wherever appropriate

Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
QCF level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care, and willing to work towards Level 3,

Minimum of two years 'experience of working within a health and social care setting

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Able to demonstrate good organisational and leadership skills
