We`ve got a brilliant role for a business intelligence contract developer to join our EMIS Health Analytics team in Bolton and Leeds areas, helping us to achieve our collective vision of helping patients live longer healthier lives.
This is a contract role paying a competitive day rate.
About the role
As our BI developer, you`ll be at the forefront of making sure we continue to work towards our vision. You will use your BI knowledge to support our Technical Architects in designing and coding, programing and bug fixing software using the necessary languages, frameworks and design patterns to make sure it`s in line with requirements.
The role would be to deliver a number of BI Modules for an Enterprise BI Solution to a major Acute client.
This role will be office based in Bolton or Leeds, with the option to work from home time to time. It may require travel to other sites across the group as well as the clients site in the North West near Bolton.
We`re a cross-group team of data experts with a vast knowledge of business intelligence. We`re made up of Technical Architects, Developers and Solution Architects as part of a wider EMIS Health Analytics development team both home and office based.
EMIS Health Analytics are at the heart of delivering our vision of connected healthcare. We have a major role in the development and implementation of our strategies for data and interoperability. They work to maximise the value of the data that we manage, whether to support population or predictive health, information at the point-of-care or service improvement.
Who you will be
We want to make sure you`re set for success so the key skills we are looking for in the role are:
- excellent understanding and experience of the Microsoft BI stack including Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and T-SQL
- understanding and experience of of a data modelling methodology such as Kimball or Inmon
- it will be great to have experience of Powershell, BIML, or PowerBi
- any knowledge of Azure would be useful
- great people and communication skills
- a self-starter and a team player
- experience in a healthcare domain
