In the role you will plan, organise and deliver a range of high quality events across the world such as regional and global conferences, training seminars and residential programmes, sponsorship events, publicity events, dinners and luncheons. A key focus in the role will be to manage their annual world conference for approximately 400 people as well as delivering their smaller training programmes in the Netherlands.

Other responsibilities will be:
• To work with project leaders and the CEO to develop detailed plans for events covering all aspects of delivery
• To develop a realistic budget for each event and be responsible for monitoring and spending against this budget, including reconciliation to invoices after the event
• To identify and book locations for the events, liaise with location management for booking, catering and logistical arrangements. This includes reviewing and negotiating hotel and other supplier contracts to the best advantage of the company. This may involve site visits to potential venues across the globe
• To identify and book external suppliers to provide services and support for events as required, including production companies, sound and lighting technicians
• To identify and book suitable restaurants for private dinners, such as those hosted for the Board of Director meetings
• Liaise with the Communications and Marketing team for the timely production and circulation of flyers and other information relating to event publicity, such as invitations, agendas, brochures, internal website or intranet articles, or the external media

To be successful, you will have an understanding or experience within the professional services industry and be able to deliver communications to senior level partners. You would be confident to plan, deliver and report on a range of global events, with the ability to build effective relationships with your colleagues. You might have a degree in a related field with the intention to study for a marketing qualification.
