Product Manager - Pensions
Ocean has been engaged to recruit an exciting opportunity to join a leading asset management company. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a Pensions Product Manager in a recognised asset manager that heavily invests in its employees.
As Pensions Product Manager, you will work in a group which provides a centre of excellence for the management and development of products and services for the UK distribution channels. The department is responsible for developing brand new retirement products and services, as well as developing and maintaining market leading, competitive, compliant and efficient products for the UK business. We are responsible for providing pensions technical advice to all areas of the business. The team are responsible for analysing changes in legislation, technology, demographics and customer behaviour to identify opportunities to enhance the existing product set and create brand new products and services.
You will work alongside a team of other product managers and take ownership of initiatives ensuring that we meet our commitments to the business and our customers. You will be expected to maintain and develop a deep technical understanding of our products and how they are differentiated from those of our competitors and use this knowledge to help deliver business advantage for the company.
- Good Product Manager / Product Management / Business Analyst / Business Analysis experience within a buy-side environment (asset manager, fund manager, investment manager, custodian, third-party administrator, TPA, investment ops, investment operations)
- Good Pension products experience including workplace & retail pensions and retirement products.
- Proven track record of successful pensions product management, product development or technical pensions support
- Pensions qualifications are desirable (CII, PMI or alternative)
