Job overview

The Social Media Manager (SMM) will oversee Social Media campaigns which include but are not limited to: research, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Alongside this the SMM will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the marketing account team’s productivity.

Creative and constructive contributions to meetings with a confidence to challenge.

The SMM will be responsible for implementing agreed strategies to support the client's business objectives and as well as supporting team members.

A confident and effective professional candidate, who is a strong communicator, has a great ‘can do’ attitude and takes great pride in their work.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

The SMM must be well organised and self-motivated whilst responding to the daily demands of the client.

The SMM will work across more than one client or project and be able to clearly prioritise as well as delegate.

The SMM will be able to interpret and understand job sheets and budgets, ensuring job sheets are completed accurately.

The SMM will be competent on software programmes including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and address the requirements including trouble shooting of any proprietary agency systems: e.g. Synergist.

The SMM will have experience including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Google Communities, Twitter, YouTube etc.

Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Hootsuite, Social Report, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) as well as paid advertising campaigns.

The SMM will support and identify with new business opportunities.
