RINA are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Controller to join our Finance team in Leatherhead, Surrey. As part of our busy Finance Team you will take full responsibility of the Purchase Ledger function ensuring that invoices are processed and suppliers receive payments on time. You will report in to the Financial Controller and be responsible for an Accounts Payable Assistant.

The role

Working as part of a busy Finance Team your key responsibilities as a Purchase Ledger Controller will include:

·Setting up new suppliers and dealing with their queries

·Matching, scanning, and posting invoices and credit notes on to the system

·Processing fortnightly BACS payment run

·Posting Direct Debit payments to relevant creditor accounts and allocate

·Checking and reconciliation of supplier statements

·Processing staff expenses fortnightly

·Filing invoices and statements

·Ad-hoc duties required to ensure completion of all finance procedures especially at month end

Qualifications & experience

·Proven experience and knowledge with Accounts Payable processes and interfaces (Purchase orders, Goods receipt, Invoice processing)

·Experience of high volume invoice processing in a fast paced working environment

·Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or similar ERP system

·Good Microsoft office skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (up to Pivot tables and VLookups)

·AAT Qualification desirable but practical accounts payable experience and the desire to succeed a must

You will have the ability to prioritise work load and excellent time management to ensure results are met for deadlines. You will have well-developed communication skills both verbal and written.
