My client based in Welwyn Garden City is looking for someone to join their finance team.

This role has come about due to the last candidate placed their getting a promotion.

40hr week Monday to Friday 30 minutes for lunch

• Raise refund cheques and card Refunds on a timely basis.
• Answering and actioning e-mails on a daily basis
• Answering refund queries from stores/Customers
• Maintenance of Master Refund spreadsheet on a daily basis
• Providing all-round support for stores
• Develop strong relationships with both stores and Customer Services to enable speedy query resolution
• Deputising for others in the Finance Operations Team as and when required ie holiday cover
• Bringing all potential risks to the immediate attention of management.
• Ad hoc duties as and when required

• Experience in customer services environment (not necessarily direct contact with external customers)
• Attention to detail is essential for all aspects of the role.
• A ‘can do’ approach with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience of working within a team environment.
• Quickly able to build a rapport with colleagues across the business and the wider group.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic excel skills.
• Retail experience desirable.
