I am working with a privately owned, wholly Independent Chartered Financial Planners that provides a range of financial planning services to private and corporate clients.

Offering advice to a varied client book, their highly educated and technical expert team can navigate around the most complex advice areas including Investments, Retirement planning, Tax and Estate planning.

Their Chartered financial planners offer Cash Flow Modelling, Investment Portfolio Review and Pension Review.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Paraplanner to become part of the Management Team.The role involves managing and overseeing the companies paraplanners ensuring that activities are conducted in accordance with procedures.This is a fast paced and dynamic environment, so the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate that they are technically competent, as well as have the management and people skills required to develop the team and drive it forward.

Travel is required as the paraplanning team is spread across three locations and may spread further.

All the companies Paraplanners are technical with a high level of knowledge around Investment and Pension advice.All the companies paraplanners are level 4 diploma qualified as a bare minimum; and are actively encouraged to take the advanced qualifications to become Chartered.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have paraplanning experience and management experience (ideally a paraplanning team).Ideally you will be Chartered and or Fellow though candidates with management experience working towards Chartered will be considered.

·Ensure the team provide quality and timely support to the Financial Planners so that advice is delivered efficiently and compliantly;

·Allocate and monitor the work of the individual Paraplanners, ensuring meeting packs are prepared and new business submitted on a timely basis, meeting internal timescales;

·Continually reassess the quality of support delivered by the Paraplanning team, seeking feedback as appropriate;

·Ensure Compliance procedures are adhered to always, escalating any breaches or concerns to the Compliance officer in a timely manner will full and accurate information;

·Assist with the development and maintenance of the broader MI system for the business, ensuring relevant, accurate and timely MI to facilitate decision making and improve operational effectiveness;

·Establish and monitor procedures, identify and recommend improvements where necessary through regular monitoring and reporting for quality and training purposes;

·Seek to improve business procedures by constantly looking for further efficiencies, embracing technology;

·Contribute to group projects, advising on operational matters and new procedures; and

·Provide training and development on CRM system and recommend improvements to working practices.

Salary/Benefits Information:

The salary on offer is up to £60,000 depending on experience, qualifications and record.
