Cyber Security Analyst - Six Sigma/Lean - Walsall

Cyber/Security/Analyst/Six Sigma/Lean/ISO27001/Compliance/Change/Process/Disaster/Recovery

Cyber Security Analyst required to join whg as part of their recruitment campaign to be responsible for supporting cyber security and driving process improvement. You will monitor and analyse control systems, and facilitate the implementation of appropriate processes. You will ensure enhancements are assessed and scoped, and offer suitable mitigation to issues/risks identified.

Cyber/Security/Analyst/Six Sigma/Lean/ISO27001/Compliance/Change/Process/Disaster/Recovery

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders of all levels; influence, persuade and negotiate with stakeholders in order to drive change and process improvements
  • Assess and identify potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities
  • Verify that routine security procedures, such as patching, managing access rights, and malware protection are carried out in line with whg IT standards and processes
  • Provide evidence to cyber security related audits
  • Assess current and future cyber security activities and ensure that these provide an adequate level of control and reassurance

Key Skills

  • Experience of process analysis techniques; Six Sigma, Lean etc
  • Strong understanding and experience of Process Improvement; identify opportunities and engage with colleagues to make the change happen
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience; ability to facilitate and shape change, by building relationships with and influencing stakeholders
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, and security threats/vulnerabilities which could impact whg
  • Knowledge of ISO27001 legislation and best practice
  • Experience within the Housing sector would be desirable
