Printer Photocopier Engineer
Printer Service Hardware Engineer - Kyocera/Canon/Konica / Minolta / Equitrac/Papercut and DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LDAP, Active Directory
The role is a hybrid between a traditional printer engineer and a Professional Services Engineer
You will be offered training in Konica and Canon and you will be offered training to move up to a team leading role and more senior role within the first 24 months
You will receive any relevant training, whether machine, solution or IT based as set out by the Field Service Manager
You will be support hardware but also be responsible for supporting the print and scan solutions installed on the devices.
A strong hardware and IT knowledge is required to be successful in this role as we look to redefine the future of the Hardware Engineer.
You will be single point of resolution for all Hardware and Software faults and you will work without direct supervision
You will visit clients in the London area with your first appointment at 9.00 AM and your last appointment at 4.30 PM
Your market area will be the SME market and your clients will have between 20 and 250 user maximum.
You will Communicate with the Helpdesk coordinator if you are not able to complete the call within one and half hours of arrival at site or if you have been asked to look at another machine or issue.
You will be responsible for managing warranty sheets and spare parts
You will provide initial support on any software and hardware product or pass it to the Consultants or the helpdesk if escalation is required.
