IT Support & Development Apprentice
YouTrain are pleased to be working in partnership, once again, with a leading provider of contact centre services to businesses through the UK. Our client’s services include telephone answering, appointment scheduling, inbound call handling and helpdesk services.
Our client, who are based in South Queensferry, are looking to hire an IT Apprentice to take on a varied and exciting role within the business.
This is a full-time opportunity where you will have the chance to earn as you learn. Fully funded for those aged 16-24, you will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in IT. This Apprenticeship will consist of work based and class room based training resulting in the achievement of a nationally recognised Diploma and various Microsoft vendor certifications.
In this role, as an IT Apprentice, you will gain exposure and experience within different areas of the IT field. Your main duties and tasks will involve the following;·Diagnosing and resolving technical issues·Installing, updating and maintaining all IT systems·Advising and supporting end users with any IT difficulties ·Database management ·Data security
This would be an ideal role for a school, college or university student who is looking to kick start their career in the IT field. Perhaps you have excelled in this area throughout your education or enjoy technical hobbies in your spare time such as PC Building or learning how to code on Code Academy. Alternatively, you might already have little bit of experience in the field but are searching for a new challenge.
We will also be looking for candidates to demonstrate a hardworking attitude with a strong desire to learn and progress! Also, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and independently. Additionally, you will be a logical thinker who is able to dissect problems and find solutions.
