Our client is an expanding modern, high street based accountancy and tax practice in Wellington, Somerset. They are now looking to recruit for an experienced Bookkeeper to strengthen their team.

Established over 7 years ago the firm largely deals with SMEs and individual self-assessment cases and operates out of Wellington. They are a modern, dynamic and proactive firm of accountants who gain substantial referrals from existing clients for providing an unparalleled service.

As a bookkeeper you will have a good number of years of professional experience in a similar position. You will be committed and looking for a position long term where you can grow with the company. It’s a great opportunity for those who enjoy working in an open plan office within a small but friendly and fun team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

–General bookkeeping duties inc
–Bank reconciliations
–VAT returns
–Sales reconciliations
–Purchase transactions

It is essential that you are computer literate and highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel. Preference will be given to those with experience in QuickBooks and or Xero.

Our client would consider working hours to suit school hours.
