Do you have experience of business data flows and report development?
We are looking for a Report Developer to develop intuitive self-serve reports using core business information systems functionality to provide business information users with the right information, at the right time, to support and drive effective business decisions. You'll need to understand our data processes and ensure that any reports specified by Translators are feasible to be delivered as self-serve reports. Working with the translation team, you'll create and deliver what has been specified but adding insight into the design so that output is intuitive, fit for purpose and easy for the use to consume. You'll test the reports that have been built and ensure that defects are identified and fixed before the reports go live. Collaborating with IS colleagues, you'll write technical specifications to ensure fit for purpose data warehouse/data marts are built to time and quality to enable report development. You'll manage and educate both the Translation and Production teams to ensure that the use and functionality of the tools is maximised. This role is perfect for someone who has excellent stakeholder management skills as you'll need to continually communicate progress to them and ensure that planned deliverables are met. You'll resolve user queries and problems and deal with any incidences that are logged relating to reports.

As a Report Developer, you will have:
- Experience of the business data flows of at least one of these systems (eg. SAP, Target, Carms, Escada, Netbase, Avaya) - Experience of report development using one of these reporting systems (eg. SAP BW, SAP HANA, Target MI, Target MID) - Experience of working with business analyst in creating business information reports from documented business requirements - Excellent communication skills
