Technical Consultant / Field Service Engineer - O365, Windows, Exchange, Virtualisation, Consultancy & Client-Site travel.

My growing and well-establish IT Services Organisation based on the Berkshire/Buckinghamshire boarders is seeking a dynamic, technically astute and hands-on Technical Consultant / Field Service Engineer with strong Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange & Virtualisation skills to travel to customer sites in and around the local area (circa 30 miles from the office). Travel approx 50% of the time based 25 miles from office location (Wycombe).

As Technical Consultant / Field Service Engineer you will be required to log, manage, support and resolve client issues to the client's satisfaction and provide troubleshooting and consultative advice.
Other Duties will include:

? Logging and Managing Client Calls

? Attempt first time fix in all cases and then establish next action if this is not successful

? Follow escalation procedure when requiring 3rd line

? Identifying root cause of issue or recurring issues and communicate to Supervisor / Technical Consultant as appropriate

? Provide knowledge and practical experience of administering Windows based servers

? Agree with the client a next step and time at the end of each contact

? Build and developer strong client relationships

? Provide support to 1st line team members to resolve calls and develop their knowledge

? Provide technical support on Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange, Virtualisation, Hyper-V and VWware

This is a field based role; therefore you must have a clean and valid UK Driving Licence.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

? Strong 2nd /3rd Line Support

? Windows Systems Administration experience

? Strong troubleshooting skills

? Microsoft Exchange Administration experience

? O365 Administration and troubleshooting

? Strong Virtualisation (Hyper-V OR VMware)

Any networking, firewall, backup or storage experience is a bonus.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the available to developer excellent relationships with clients.

Again, as Technical Consultant / Field Service Engineer with strong troubleshooting and systems admin skills in Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange, Virtualisation, Hyper-V and VWware, you must be prepared to travel to client sites in and around the Berkshire/Buckinghamshire /Oxfordshire borders
A clean and valid UK driving licence is required.
This role is paying a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + car
