Continental Shift (Electrical Bias) Engineering Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly capable (Electrical Bias) Team Leader with a strong FMCG background for this challenging new role. Within the role you will be required to provide full Technical Engineering support to the production function as part of the production team. You will be tasked with proactive maintenance, reactive breakdowns, fault finding and continuously improving plant performance, while maintaining quality and safety standards. You will also take responsibility for continuous improvement of a specific area using good manufacturing and engineering practices.

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications

*Leading a team of engineers to ensure a smooth running distribution depot

*Be time served in mechanical or electrical discipline with a recognised apprenticeship and at least a BTEC HNC standard or equivalent.

*Have a knowledge of PLC based control systems

*Be 17th Edition qualified

*BS2360 level 3 installation of electrical services (minimum)

*Have extensive knowledge of safe working practices

*Be able to weld steel plating using TIG/ARC

*Be able to use milling/grinding equipment

*Available to work a 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern
