Page Personnel are currently recruiting a Sales Ledger Clerk on behalf of a market leading retail business based in Thirsk.

This well established retail specialist have a Global client base, they have grown rapidly over the years through acquisition and offer a diverse and exciting product range. A fantastic opportunity has come available for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their successful Finance team based in Thirsk.

Description

The successful Sales Ledger Clerk will report directly into the Finance Manager and will solely manage the Accounts Receivable function on behalf of the business.

They will be responsible for, but not limited to; opening new customer accounts, credit checking accounts, raising invoices in an accurate and timely manner, allocating cash, bank reconciliations, resolving customer queries, chasing and managing overdue payments, month end reporting and other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful Sales Ledger Clerk will have:

  • A background in Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger processing
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills
