Test Analyst / QA Tester- London - £25,000 - £28,000

My Client is one of the Leading Transport Company's in the UK, based in Central London and due to expansion has a number of opportunities for QA Analysts to join them at their offices in Westminster and East Croydon. They employ over 26,000 in the UK and are growing significantly. Based at their offices in East Croydon and Westminster London. The Salary is £25,000 - £28,000 depending upon experience.

You will be a smart Test Analyst, people person through and through with a flexible approach to work. Liaising with their bus and rail companies as well as with external suppliers. You will have a strong customer focus, people person attitude, who is able to on-board information quickly and efficiently and used to working in fast paced environments.

      4 years Testing experience including creation of test plans, test scripts and test executionTo undertake quality assurance checks during third-party supplier developmentsTo ensure that the test scenarios, test plans and scripts are created in a structured way, to reflect business or technical priorities and are approved by appropriate stakeholders

        To execute tests and ensure results are accurately recordedTo support other test team members and associated IT and business resources as appropriate to the implementation of testing-related activitiesTo report issues observed as part of the testing-related activities and retesting where requiredLiaise with suppliers in regard to the resolution of any defects identified

          To carry out other tasks as agreed with the Test Lead

            Proven experience of successful partnership working.

              Ability to communicate orally with a wide range of peopleAbility to present information at meetings both internal and externalAbility to explain complex issues in a simplified wayExperience of working in the UK public transport sector would be a big plus

                Knowledge of Smartcard and/or ITSO would be an advantage

                  Highly computer literate with working knowledge of a variety of project management packages and MS office toolsExcellent organisation skills, familiarity with testing methodologies and project lifecycleHigh degree of accuracyExperience of being a team player and with equal ability to work effectively on own initiativeAbility to multi-taskAbility to work to deadlinesAbility to prioritise own workloadAbility to work under pressureFast learner
