You're unlikely to be an expert in all these areas but you enjoylearning about cutting-edge technology and you know what makes software great!You understand the importance of clean code and software architecture.You know why we need to keep our projects clean and well-structured, andthat a robust suite of automated tests will help keep you sane! You'rean experienced TDD practitioner but can explain how the practice isevolving and how many tests "is enough".You're a strong Agile practitioner, you know about Scrum and XP and haveprobably tried Lean or Kanban too. You've taken what works and appliedit to your own practices and know that one size never fits all - knowingthat the key to Agile is trying, learning and improving. And you'reinterested in Product discovery, aware that we build the best softwarewhen getting valuable feedback from our users to drive our decision-making.You're an ambassador for CI and CD, using modern build tools and scriptsto create simple and seamless pipelines to get from development toproduction as quickly and safely as possible. You also know full systemownership starts with automated infrastructure so you have someknowledge of Windows, Linux or configuration management - you may haveeven battled with the differences between public and private cloud.And you like to have fun! You love building software because you enjoyit and know there are times to be pragmatic as well as crafting theperfect system. You like pairing with your colleagues because it's funlearning together and have an interest in the community - from runningbrown-bags to writing the occasional blog post and attending or evenspeaking at conferences and meet-ups.And finally, you're a champion for diversity - research shows us that abalanced team with differing backgrounds, gender and ethnicity bringsmore successful results. Skills and Responsibilities: You will be a senior technologist within a small cross-functional Agileteam, a 100% hands-on Engineer and proficient in Windows, .Net and SQL.You've been building in these tehcnologies for 7-10 years although youmight have an additional interest in non .Net and Open Source.You will support the Team Lead on technical implementation and helpmentor the other members of the group. You will lead by example,contributing high quality, fully automated tested production ready codeand providing detailed feedback in code reviews. You will be resolvingcomplex technical issues, developing relationships and pursuinginnovation to improve system extensibility, availability and performance.Your team's main responsibility will be building new features for thecore of the Campaign Creation engine, with a particular focus on ourrelationship with Facebook. You will work closely with both internal andexternal engineering teams to achieve this.
