Hays Education has a English Teacher job available to start in July or September 2018 in an 11-18 secondary school in Liverpool. We welcome candidates of various levels of experience, including NQTs. This role is a full time job until July 2019, with the potential of becoming a permanent position for the right teacher.
This Liverpool based secondary school is situated within a vibrant and engaging community and places a strong emphasis on studies; extra-curricular activities and good working relationships. Behaviour is very good and students come from a diverse range of backgrounds. This Liverpool school develops students interests and ambitions, wherever they may be placed. Students achieve and progress well in English, Maths and Science.
We are looking for a passionate English Teacher, with a positive attitude, who is committed to high quality teaching. You need to be flexible, versatile and resourceful with an ability to think on the spot and have good behaviour management skills. The successful English teacher will be able to deliver, competently & confidently, lessons fulfilling the requirements of the UK National Curriculum and be willing to contribute to additional responsibilities and extra-curricular activities. The Liverpool school expects its teachers to go the extra mile and is a great place to grow and develop.
This position will require you to teach a full-time English timetable for Key stages 3 and 4
