Your new company
Well known university based in central London is looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract role to start ASAP as part of a large IT team working on significant projects.

Your new role
As part of the IT team, some of the initial deliverables of your role will include: - Procurement process documentation - Guidance documentation on how to manage the process and complete the templates - Identification of and creation of standard, boilerplate template sections (e.g. non-functional requirements) - Review and feedback on specific tender documents.
We are looking for a candidate with the following functional skills and experience: -
Business process review and documentation - Strong stakeholder management skills - Strong documentation skills - Experience of working on IT projects, continuous improvement initiatives - working through the ongoing cycle of identifying and implementing and monitoring changes.

What you'll need to succeed

Practical experience in an IT project environment where complex business needs are met by computer systems.Experience and skill in the use of modelling tools, up to and including the level of representing business architectures.Ability to communicate clearly in speech and in writing and be able to explain business process concepts to the end user, and communicate with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.Experience using techniques in analysis, and in analysing business and IT business processes.Knowledge of the general principles of information technology such as its role in decision support, methods of data capture, storage and retrieval, transactional processing and workflow.Experience in managing own time effectively in an environment of competing enduser demands and time-critical schedules, prioritising simultaneous project work and rapidly evaluating alternate action plans.Experience in stakeholder engagement and management.Ability to work effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and skills and developing productive working relationships.
