Apprenticeship Team Manager - South England Area
Salary - £30,000 pa, plus company car + Benefits

Our client is one of the UK's leading retailers, with a national spread of stores, Distribution Centres, on-line shopping and a delivery service. They are also one of the Sunday Times 30 best big companies to work for.

They are currently seeking an experience Apprenticeship Team Leader to join their team in the South. You will be responsible for the leadership and operational management and performance for a team of field based assessors who are delivering apprenticeships in Retail, Customer Services, Team Leading and Warehousing. You will have a background in assessing and internal quality assurance, with the relevant qualifications. The role will involve travel from your home base to sites across the South of England, so extensive travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Responsible for the leadership, operational management and performance of a team of Assessors delivering apprenticeships in Retail Team Leading L3 and Retail Team Manager Level 4
Drive and achieve set KPI's to ensure learner progress and timely completions
Seek ways to improve operational performance
Carry out monthly caseload reviews for your coaching team
Carry out monthly assessor support visits
Plan and deliver monthly team away days
Work with your IQA to improve Quality within your team
Work closely with the Data and Funding team to ensure coaches are obtaining all necessary paperwork to accurately claim funding
Manage the day to day running of the team dealing with queries and issues as they arise

You will need to have:
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and handle multiple assignments
Detailed knowledge of apprenticeships and Government funded programmes
Experience in delivering in line with Ofsted and SFA requirements
Experience of audits and inspections
Flexible and adaptable
Self motivated, proactive and target driven
Ability to influence and problem solve
Strong organisational skills
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work remotely and as part of a team and manage time effectively
Relevant sector experience
D32/33/A1/TAQA or equivalent
D34/V1/IQA desirable
Functional skills in level 2 Maths and English desirable
PTLLS
Must be flexible to travel with some overnight stays required
Minimum 2 years management experience leading a team of assessors within work based learning
IT literate
Full clean driving licence

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, plus company car + a Good benefit package including 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, discount card and pension
