The Company

My client is a successful lab services company that has an exciting new opportunity for a delivery technologist at a respected pharmaceutical research organisation due to an internal promotion. In this position you will manage the movement of pharmaceutical materials and complete regulatory paperwork for a GMP scientific warehouse and chemical stores.

The Opportunity

This is a varied opportunity for someone with a GMP warehouse background and strong communication skills to join a successful growing business with opportunity for development. On site at a major pharmaceutical organisation and reporting to the pharmaceutical materials manager you will join a team of other delivery technologists performing the following tasks to GMP and SHE standards:

Receiving, accepting, locating and storing materials accurately both physically and using documentation/appropriate Inventory Management systems.Ensuring that incoming materials are of suitable quality and quantity, received correctly and available for use on the date required.Awareness and understanding of regulations required for delivery of the services required.Participating in the preparation for regulatory inspections as needed. Escorting regulatory inspectors on tours/audits of warehouse/dispatch facility, providing documentation and explanation of the processes and facilities.Authoring and updating key documentation.Ensuring materials with special handling, storage or distribution requirements (such as Hazardous Shipments and Temperature Sensitive material) are properly monitored.Ensuring all relevant activities (e.g. request set-up, label generation, packing, labelling, warehousing and distribution) are executed on time and in line with written procedures and GMP requirements.Responsibility for coordination and execution of daily shipping activities including bulk product shipments.Ensuring compliance of activities performed are in adherence with defined schedules, GMP and quality agreements. Acting and reporting on deviations.Ensuring all necessary documents and authorisations are available in time for every shipment e.g. CofAs, import license.About You
