We're planning to invest in the businesses we have now, and explore new opportunities to make a difference. Our retail business is transforming, under one of the Co-op's most significant change programmes to date, setting the future operating resulting from the introduction of SAP. All of this change is great but we need to make sure our colleagues in both stores and support centre feel equipped and ready to work in a new way, and this is why we're currently looking for a training delivery manager to join us on an 18 month contract. In this role you'll take ownership of the retail business transformation (RBT) programme's training curriculum for 60,000 colleagues including; training material development, delivery and evaluation. In order to be successful with us you'll need to be an excellent people manager, with both your own direct reports and when working as part of a wider change team. You'll be adept at identifying risks and issues promptly with a solid background in project management or training delivery.

We'd love to talk to you if

* You're a proven people manager with the passion to empower a team to work to the highest of standards

* You've a proven background in training and/or L&D

* You're used to engaging colleagues across a variety of teams and levels, with strong influencing capability

* You've some experience within project management, ideally within a training/ learning environment

* You've a track record of service delivery

* You're an excellent presenter

* You've worked with SAP/ another ERP system or on an IT transformation programme before

* You've got an industry recognised qualification and have worked in the retail or food industry before, although these aren't essential

Why Co-op?

When you join the Co-op you'll become part of an organisation where principles are just as important as profits. You'll also get a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, an annual incentive scheme, discounts on all kinds of products and services, and a pension with up to 10% employer contributions.

We're actively building diverse teams and welcome applications from everyone. But we know that simply having a diverse workforce is not enough. We want to create an inclusive environment, where everyone can contribute their best work and develop to their full potential. We celebrate our differences, and recognise the importance of teams reflecting the communities they serve.

We can make reasonable adjustments to our interview process according to your needs. And we offer a flexible working environment, enabling our colleagues to adjust their hours to accommodate personal circumstances.
