Sales Ledger - Nottingham - £18000 to £21000 - Permanent

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger to join an established brand in the healthcare industry who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of the sales ledger processes.

THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Posting of receipts to patient accounts
  • Raising and matching invoices to receipts
  • Raising credit notes to patients
  • Preparing refunds to patients and entering necessary transactions on the accounts system
  • Allocation of monies received
  • Preparing daily banking schedules
  • Creating, maintaining and managing customer accounts
  • Dealing with customers via the telephone, email and post
  • Filing and ad hoc finance admin duties

THE EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Proven Sales Ledger experience andknowledge of relevant accounting areas
  • Experience in using an accountancy package and MS Office
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Accurate data input skills
  • Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers
  • Good organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • An aptitude for continuous improvement, change and innovation
  • Be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
