Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - £40,000 - £43,000

Nottinghamshire - Shifts (Days, Evenings & Nights)

One of the biggest Manufacturers in the UK right now is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of their sites in the Nottinghamshire area. Whether you are electrically biased or mechanically biased; there may be an opportunity for you! Not only to be financially rewarded but to also truly be part of something really big! Due to organic growth they require a competent all round Maintenance Engineer who has experience within the heavy industry.

The right person for this role will be an experienced time-served, electrical or mechanical engineer with a HNC or ONC; Possessing strong knowledge of PLC`s, pneumatics, hydraulics, Kilns, inverters, and conveyors.


- Ensuring all equipment is serviced and repaired efficiently

- Pre-Planned Maintenance is carried out effectively and downtime reduced

- Fault finding and problem solving on machinery and systems

- PLC fault finding (Allen Bradley & Siemens)

- Continuous improvement

- Supporting the Maintenance Manager with electrical and mechanical duties


- Apprentice trained (Electrical or Mechanical)

- Experience of working on a heavy plant or similar equipment (Kilns, Crushers, Screens, Conveyors)

- PLC experience

- Ability to interrogate Allen Bradley & Siemens


- £40,000 - £43,000
