IT Business Systems Analyst (SAP)
£30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience + 25 days holiday and an excellent pension.

An opportunity has arisen to join the market leader in analytical capital equipment manufacturing as a Business Systems Analyst. As the Business Systems Analyst you will build and maintain a positive relationship between Central functions for Systems and Data and the local business. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for leading MDM activities by coordinating data quality initiatives between SAP power users. You will also need to project manage selected Business Improvement & IT projects as defined by the line manager or stakeholders and ensuring these projects are managed in accordance with project management methodology.
Key Accountabilities
* Coordinate all SAP retrofit activities within the SLXR, in particular change management, training, resource planning for test activities, cut over activities and master data verification
* Be the central point of contact for the SAP roll in team for retrofit activities within the unit and help to build up a skillful and motivated community of power users which are up to date on retrofit activities
* Lead the business unit through activities to ensure it is compliant with GDPR, going forward ensure that the unit remains compliant with GDPR and as such be seen as the Local Data Officer
* Management of the day-to-day business improvement and IT projects such as software updates to SAP, process improvement initiatives, IT projects such as the upgrade of the Server and the new building related projects
* Continually improve the automation of business processes
* Be seen as local Data Steward for the nosiness ensuring data meets global/local data standards and addressing non-conformances where necessary
* Coordinate master data requests, track required completion, escalation of capacity issues
* Lead process improvement initiative (e.g. mass data uploads, data gathering efficiencies)
* Execute data maintenance activities for master data in SAP and associated systems
* Management of our third party IT Support Company ensuring that performance is acceptable to the business and that SLAs are met.
Experience and Skills
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, information systems, or related field
* The ability to understand end to end business processes
* Experience in a Business Systems role
* Systems knowledge of SAP ECC System
* Understand of SAP best practice data management standards
* Knowledge of data protection and ensuring compliance towards data
* Knowledge of Siemens Team Centre is desirable
* Be able to engage and influence employees, peers in I.T. and Business Change, service consumers and business management teams
* Be highly customer and delivery focused, meeting and exceeding customer expectations
