We currently have an opportunity for an System Integration Engineer who will responsible for a wide range of engineering activities covering all stages of the engineering lifecycle; from concept through to verification and validation of production systems. The System Integration Engineer will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop solutions that successfully meet with the overall objectives of the project.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
This System Integration Engineer will be expected to have a broad knowledge of design and application; this may include:
Understanding and design of network hardwareDistributed system of power supplies from 250W to 3.5kWCarry out benefit analysis for bespoke vs CoTS solutionsDefinition of production and system tests to demonstrate verification of requirementsDesign for EMCInterfacing with software and mechanical disciplines to support meeting system requirements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Degree or higher in electrical engineeringExcellent standards knowledgeRapid learner, flexible and adaptable engineerAbility to communicate effectively with team and across disciplinesAttention to detailEligible to obtain UK security clearance and to level SC level.Able to travel on Company business
Some knowledge of Def Stan requirementsAn understanding of processes and techniques applicable to designA proven track record of product design and verification in a relevant environmentGood knowledge of best practice design lifecycle process; gated design phases, design reviews, etcGood in front of customers; willing and able to make presentations
